1. Acceptance

By accessing or using CCG Index (ccgindex.com and its subdomains), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

2. No warranty, no investment advice

CCG Index is an informational tool. The price data, index calculations, and change percentages are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, or trading advice. Sealed trading card game products are a volatile secondary market with significant risks including illiquidity, authenticity risk, condition-grading risk, and total loss. We make no claims about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data presented. Make your own decisions; consult a qualified professional for financial advice.

3. Data sources and accuracy

Prices on CCG Index are aggregated from public sources (primarily TCGPlayer and its public catalog mirrors). We refresh data hourly but there may be delays, gaps, misclassifications, or outright errors. The site may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, deployments, or technical issues.

If you spot incorrect data or a miscategorized product, let us know through the contact channel on the About page.

4. Affiliate links

CCG Index contains affiliate links to third-party marketplaces (TCGPlayer, eBay, Amazon, and others). When you click those links and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with the standard rel="sponsored" attribute. The commissions fund site hosting and development.

We link to these marketplaces because they carry the products we track, not because of the commission. Purchase decisions are yours alone; CCG Index is not a party to any transaction you complete on a third-party site.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data from CCG Index without permission. The price data displayed is licensed from third parties and redistribution is not permitted.
  • Use automated tools to submit requests at a rate that impairs site operation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, the underlying infrastructure, or any other user's browser state.
  • Use the site for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

Casual browsing, personal research, and individual use are welcome and encouraged.

6. Intellectual property

Product names, set names, game names, card names, and company names referenced on CCG Index are trademarks of their respective owners (Wizards of the Coast, The Pokémon Company, Ravensburger, Disney, Bandai, TCGPlayer, etc.). CCG Index is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies.

The site's own design, code, and index methodology are the property of CCG Index. Screenshots for personal use or journalistic reference are fine; bulk redistribution is not.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CCG Index and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the site.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where CCG Index is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in that location.
